Kardinia Hope Steiner School is a preschool learning centre for children living in disadvantage low-income, economic background. It is a free tuition school that takes care of the holistic well-being of children with a unique educational system built on academics, art, music, physical, emotional and social education.The school curriculum is based on the Waldorf Steiner approach to education which strives to develop pupils' intellectual, artistic and practical skills in an integrated and holistic manner.
 
The centre provides free quality education, health services and a free meal programme for its pupils.
The Pilot centre is located in Ubulu-Uku, Delta State Nigeria.
The concept was designed, financed and built by Emeka Okwudishu and wife Constance through their Kardinia Hope Foundation, with support from local volunteers and the community widows cooperative group which is also an initiative of Kardinia Hope Foundation.

The Centre has a building which serves as the classrooms. it also has a beautiful Garden, Playground and Library. 
Kardinia Hope Steiner School appreciates the importance of play in the developmental process of a child, reason why we place special emphasis on our playground. 
The Centre is open to children in the community and affords them the opportunity to access a free library and a safe play area, within a serene and secure environment.
Our vision is to build more of these centres across remote and poor communities in Nigeria.
